the weather has been so hot and humid the past week i just want to surround my bed with fans so that i don't wake up all sweaty every two hours.

i had this pretty ridiculousawesome dream about going skiing with Ohno.
i was walking around in my skii boots and he was all confused looking, than i fangirled to some chicks who my head randomly made up and he popped his head out of the corner and was like "whut" and we all went AHH! wtf
but it made me think of the last time i went skiing and what a massive failure i am. i kept falling off the little ski lift things that are basically a disk between your legs and when i went on one of the bigger slopes i kept falling and i knocked over some guy and i ened up walking down the giant hill and spending the rest of the day drinking hot chocolate in the lodge.

hopefully my suprise package from homeboy comes today, because i'm leaving saturday and i dont want it to sit on my doorstep and get all soaky while im in CA. i don't know whats in it, just know it might include: unknown dvds, mixtapes, CDs, zac efron shit, comic books, beer money, beer magazines, action figures, funny gift bags with cats on them, beer, mexican t-shirts, puro things, degrassi related items...

ah i was in the kitchen for awhile today.
jody came over, shes a family friend, well i guess madre's best friend?
i havent seen her for years. anyway, i made them roasted lamb leg with minted spinach.
lamb is probably one of my favorite meats, but padre hates it. so i made him a NY strip with pepper cream sauce (dude the flames from the red wine were so high i though the cabinets would catch fire) and grilled zuccini.

and i made myself a salmon ding-dong. well i was in salmon heaven, i pan fried a fillet, flaked it with creme fraiche, chives, capers, and a little of the vinagarette i made for it.
than i layered some really nice smoked salmon on saran wrap and piled the flaked salmon mixture on it, and molded the whole thing with the saran into a tin to make the round shape.
i skinned and pitted a tomatoe and mixed it with the normal vinagaerette i make (citrus, dijon mustard, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, white wine) let it sit out while i chilled my salmon.
plated it and piped creme fraiche on it (hence why it looked to me like a ding-dong), put the tomato dressing around. and ate it furiously. sooooo gooood. salmon heaven.

when my ipod kicked the bucket i was left stranded in Boston with no music cause all my records, cds, and tapes were in CA.
so yesterday i get a harddrive that had almost all my ripped shit. STOKED!

so i guess people on my street are really tight so they gossip about every little thing. apparently i was the previous topic.
they decided i was in a witness protection program, cause i move so much.

the newest was last week, the new topic was "jin, the asian rockstar" who moved in next door as an exchange student.
